ABOUT ME

Welcome! I’m Jessica Rogers. I am a Birth and Postpartum Doula with a deep passion for supporting families through one of the most powerful journeys of their lives: pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I was trained through DONA International and am actively working towards birth and postpartum certification. I am also on the journey to become a Certified Lactation Counselor through the Center for Breastfeeding.

My own experience becoming a mother ignited this calling in me, and it grew even stronger during my second pregnancy. This season can be transformative, overwhelming and beautiful all at once, and you do not have to go through it alone.

As your doula, I will be a dedicated and compassionate support system, someone who not only respects you but also walks beside you like a trusted friend throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. I bring a calm presence, a good sense of humor, and a listening ear when you need it most. I am a hard worker who believes in your strength and am here to support you and your family every step of the way.

When I am not supporting families, you can find me spending time with my amazing husband, children, family and friends, exercising, reading, meal prepping or gardening. I also happen to love spiders and have a new hobby that includes two jumping spiders and a tarantula - weird, maybe, but I love them and have always had a soft spot for exotic pets (and nature in general). I also have a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design from RIT, and spent the previous ~12 years working in the field until the birth of my second baby.

I love seeing women empowered through this incredible experience and I would be honored to be a part of your team. I serve the Rochester, NY area hospitals and provide postpartum support to those within 25 minutes from my home in Hilton, NY. I truly look forward to working with you!

Testimonials

“Jessica brought so much positivity and peace to my birth. From helping me feel mentally prepared ahead of time to cheering me on in the moment, she made me feel happy, confident, and cared for every step of the way. She honored all my choices and created a truly loving, supportive space - it was everything I hoped for. Choosing a doula is such an important decision, and I’m so grateful I trusted Jessica with one of the most meaningful moments of my life.” - Sarah

“Working with Jess as my virtual doula was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. From the beginning, she created space for open, thoughtful conversations that helped my husband and me feel informed and empowered. She never pushed her own opinions—instead, she listened deeply and helped us explore what felt right for us. Her ability to speak from experience, especially having had two very different births herself, gave her insight that really resonated. Jess guided us through building a birth plan, but also helped us prepare emotionally and mentally for the unexpected. I ended up having an unmedicated natural birth, and I know I approached it with more clarity and confidence because of her support. Even virtually, her presence was calming and grounding. I’m so grateful for her care and would recommend her to anyone looking for nonjudgmental, thoughtful guidance in their pregnancy journey.” - Chelsea
